Spectacular Spaces: A Private Palace Designed for Entertaining
We love when families request spaces inside and outside of their homes for entertaining guests and extended family. Lotus House was a remarkable experience as an architectural challenge to create a house connecting stylistically with the architecture of the Raj in India and also to Regency architecture found in Georgia. In fact, both regions have histories of this style of architecture dating back to the 1830s.
Built around an interior courtyard, this successful residential project is the abundance of gathering spaces within the residence. From a private covered rear terrace that serves as a lush outdoor living room, to a glamorous dining room for more formal entertaining, this home features spaces suited for any event. Marrying the two diverse architectural styles resulted in a beautiful family home, equally ideal for quiet evenings at home as it is for grand events.
