Featured Project: Pace Academy in Tuxedo Park
William T. Baker is pleased to announce his cooperation with Pace Academy and TVS Architects as design consultant for Pace's new lower school building to be built in Atlanta's historic Tuxedo Park neighborhood.
Inspired by the great estates found throughout Tuxedo Park, the new lower school is intended to blend in and compliment the residential nature of the street. The building's architecture will reflect an English stone manor house and incorporate natural field stone and limestone elements.
The 36,000-square-foot building will provide state-of-the art facilities for science, STEAM & Design and the Academic Resource Center; a multipurpose meeting and performance space; administrative offices; and space for after-school programming. The project will also include a student-designed ADA-accessible playground and will renovate existing spaces within the Lower School classroom building. Construction is scheduled to begin at the end of the current academic year.
